Baptism, also known as Christening,
marks the beginning of a journey with God which continues

for the rest of our lives,
the first step in response to God’s love.
We would be delighted to discuss baptism with you,

so please do contact us.

If you just want to thank God for the safe birth of your child, without expressing the formal Christian commitment which is at the heart of the baptism service, then we can offer a simple, yet meaningful, Service of Thanksgiving.

If you live within the parish, we would love to talk to you about baptism and arrange a date for the service to take place. If you are not resident within the parish but have local links,
we would be happy to discuss the possibilities of a service
in one of the churches in the benefice.
